Keyboarding Certificate Classes

Clovis Adult Education offers a hands-on keyboarding class for beginners or for students who want to improve their typing skills. This 8-week keyboarding class allows unlimited visits during the time of registration. Student will be using a computer program to learn the keyboard and focus on building speed and accuracy.

Admission Policy: Students must be 18 years of age or older and present valid I.D. when certificate is issued.

Registration closes after the second week of class.

 

Price: $125.00

Schedule: Open lab between 8:30am and 1:30pm Monday – Friday (closed 11:00am-11:30am)

Keyboarding Certificate – Test Only

Need a WPM typing Certificate for a job application? We can help! A 60-minute "test only" keyboarding certificate is available by appointment. Must provide a valid I.D. or school I.D. card with a picture.
  
Registration Information:

  • Cost is $25.00
  • Registration is required before the day of testing and is only available online.
  • Must have a valid Government Issued I.D. or school I.D. with a picture to take test.
  • There are no refunds or transferring from one test date to another. If you miss your scheduled test date you will have to re-register and pay the $25 fee. 
     

Testing Information:

  • A minimum of 3 5-minute timed writing is required to obtain a WPM certificate.
