Clovis Adult Education

Clovis Adult Education has Federal student aid available for students that qualify for PELL Grant.  Students must meet all the eligibility requirements listed (See Eligibility for PELL Grant) along with being enrolled as a full-time student in one of the following approved certificated programs.
The following is  a list of approved certificate programs.  Please refer to the Career Technical Education section in our catalog or click on the link below for the course details.  

• Vocational Nurse

1.Must have a high school diploma from an accredited institution or an HSE/GED(R)

2. Must be enrolled full time in approved career technical certificate program:

• Vocational Nurse

3.Must be 18 years or older

4. Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen (permanent resident)

5.Have a valid Social Security Number

6.Must demonstrate financial need

7.Maintain monthly satisfactory progress and attendance

8.Must sign and submit a FAFSA and agree to the statement on your application, that you are not in default on a Federal student loan and do not owe money on a federal student grant.

STUDENTS WITH A BACHELOR'S DEGREE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PELL GRANT

1.First, create your personal FSA ID to access financial information, to access certain U.S. Department of Education websites, to electronically sign and Federal Student Aid Application.

• To submit your FAFSA (Free Application Student Aid), we  recommend applying online
• The FSA ID is made up of a username and password, used to confirm your identity when accessing your financial aid information and to access certain U.S. Department of Education website.
• You must use your FSA ID to electronically sign in and to submit a federal student aid application.
• Please click on the links below to get started.
• The school code for Clovis Adult Education is #016330.
• Make sure you link your Federal Income Tax return to your application, using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool, which is located on the Income Tab of the online application.

2.Next,  submit your application to the federal website. Make sure you link your Federal Income Tax return to your application. If you are unable to link your return, you will need to order a Tax Return Transcript from the IRS
3.Last, make an appointment with the Financial Aid Office to go over qualification and eligibility status for PELL Grant (See below)
