Until in-person instruction is permitted to occur on school campuses, Clovis Unified School District will be using software and communication technology to allow students to receive instruction and other educational services during the 2020 - 2021 school year. The technology will include Zoom, which allows for video and audio communications. This technology allows our teachers and designated staff to provide online instruction and other educational services to you, monitor that you are present and attentive to the instruction and other educational services, and assist you as needed. Your teacher(s) may record instructions that the teacher is providing online to students. Such recordings may capture your voice but not your image. The recordings will be made available for access and use by students in your class for educational purposes. This could include review of the recordings by a student who missed a certain instruction by a teacher who wishes to review the instruction again for better understanding. The recordings may be viewed by students but not downloaded.
As always, we respect and will continue to implement measures to protect your privacy. As with other technology provided by Clovis Unified, all students must comply with Board Policy and Administrative Regulation No. 7205.
