Just 40 hours of training and you could add the Home Health Aide (HHA) certification to your current CNA certification. The HHA certification allows you to service clients in their home setting, allowing one-on-one client care.
The HHA program is offered once a year.
HHA Class Information:
- 40-hour program:
- Theory: 20 hours
- Clinical: 20 hours upon completion of Theory
- 100% attendance is required
HHA Classroom and Clinical Instructions:
- Health Education
- How to provide health and safety assistance
- Personal grooming assistance
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping for clients in their homes or in residential settings

HHA Class Fee $350 Additional Fees: $200 Books $73.73 Health requirements varies Uniforms varies American Heart BLS CPR card varies NOTE: Fees are due upon registration

- Must be 18 years
- Must have ACTIVE Nurse Assistant Certification
- Valid government-issued photo I.D.
- Valid Social Security card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
- American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification
NOTE:
- Access to a Laptop/PC and a reliable Internet connection is required
- Cell phones and tablets are NOT an acceptable replacement for a laptop

- Submit the CAE Health Requirement Packet
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
- CAE Student Health Questionnaire
- CAE Physical Form
- CAE Immunizations Form:
- - 2-step TB Skin Test
- - Flu vaccine (in season)
- - Hepatitis B Surface Antibody (AB) Positive TITER
- COVID-19 and Booster (Both required)
Uniform:
- Solid-colored scrub top and bottom
- White nursing shoes (no canvas or tennis shoes)
- Wristwatch with a second hand (no smart watches allowed)
REQUIRED: Access to a Laptop/PC and reliable Internet
Cell phones and tablets are NOT acceptable
